Regularly Go Back and Interlink Old Blog Posts

One of the most common mistakes bloggers make is creating excellent content day after day, but never linking back to it!

Let’s face it, users are not going to go back and dig through your blog’s archives to find your old posts. You need to do the work for them by adopting an aggressive “interlinking strategy.”

Every single post on your authority blog should include a minimum of 3 links back to previous relevant posts. This can improve metrics like pageviews and time on site rapidly by creating a bunch of “rabbit trails” that help users discover more of your content.

As users get sucked into this “choose your own adventure” content trail, they’ll find more value in your site and they’ll be more likely to return.
