1. Materials:
- Crochet hook Size 3
and Size 2mm for face
- Polyacrylic yarn for these hook sizes.
- Stuffing
- 2 Black buttons for eyes
- Hot glue gun

The Snowman is worked
in continuous rounds;
do not join and do not turn at the
ends of rounds. Place a stitch marker to indicate the beginning of rounds and move
marker as each round is worked.
3. STITCHES USED:
Chain (ch), stitch (st), half double crochet (hdc), single crochet (sc),
Slip stitch (sl st), Magic Ring
4. How crochet 2 stitches together (sc2tog):
Please watch this video to learn the method. I use only this method in this pattern. If
you make another decreases, the entire result will looks another.

Into Magic Ring 6sc or ch 2 and 6 sc in second chain from hook (6 sc)
Rnd 2:
2 sc in each st around (12 sc)
Rnd 3:
*1sc, 2sc in next st* repeat from * to * around 6 times (18 sc)
Rnd 4:
*2sc, 2sc in next st* 6 times (24 sc)
Rnd 5:
*3sc, 2sc in next st* 6 times (30 sc)
Rnd 6:
1sc, 2sc in next st, *4sc, 2sc in next st* 5 times, 3sc (36 sc)
Rnd 7:
3sc, 2sc in next st, *5sc, 2sc in next st* 5 times, 2sc (42 sc)

Take another color (color of the legs) and crochet on the Row 18 of the body further into
the back loops.

*7sc, 2sc in next st* 5 times (45 sc)

Tip how to hide the top thread by
crocheting:
Hold the crochet hook just under the
short initial thread and hide it in the
coming single crochets (pictures 2
and 3).
In the Figure 4 the initial thread is
not visible.
