An agreement is hereby made between:

Object of the agreement:
1)
Artist will participate in the following working period of the Baltic Youth Philharmonic in 2013:
July 9 – July 15, 2013

2)
Artist will receive the following cash stipend:
EUR 50,00 in cash for the whole tour

Presenter will book and pay for Artist’s transportation to and from the session (economy class,
train 2
nd
class) but only from and to the place of Artist’s music academy. If Artist travels from
July 9: arrival in Neumünster, Germany
July 10-11: rehearsals in Neumünster
July 12: rehearsals and run-through concert in Neumünster
July 13: concert in Kiel, Germany
July 14: concert in Elmshorn, Germany
July 15: departure

somewhere else he will have to bear any costs beyond what the travel from the place of his
academy would cost.
Furthermore, Presenter will provide transport for Artist between airport, accommodation and the
venues as necessary. Costs for local transfers (e.g. for airport buses, taxi) at Artist’s origin
destination will not be reimbursed.
If Artist cancel his participation after his travel documents are issued, he has to bear the arising
expenses for rebooking or cancellation.

Presenter will book and pay for accommodation (economy hotels or hostels) during all working
periods. Presenter will not pay for incidental accommodation costs (telephone charges, minibar
etc).
If Artist cancels his participation after the accommodation deadline for changes can be made, he
has to bear the arising cost for cancellation.

Presenter will provide three meals a day or per diems during all working periods. The Presenter
will not provide meals on the arrival day.
Artist is responsible for his own health and travel insurance for all countries, if not agreed upon
otherwise. Artist is reponsible for the insurance of any personally owned instruments.
Artist agrees to the recording and subsequent use of audiovisual and/or photographic material.
Artist hereby declares his irrevocable consent to the production and utilization of audio and
audiovisual recordings, photographs and interviews (hereinafter “Recordings”) of his person and
artistic contributions to BYP 2013. Artist hereby transfers and assigns to Presenter, without
restrictions as to content, time and space, all exclusive and transferable image/photo rights, the
right to mention/state Artist’s name, copyrights, utilization rights and performer’s rights in and to
the Recordings for unrestricted utilization; in all known and unknown media and forms of
utilization, including but not limited to the reproduction, dissemination, exhibition, performance,
screening, online access (“internet rights”), broadcasting, satellite broadcasting, cable transfer,
replay by means of image and sound storage media, replay of radio broadcasts and public access
(public exhibition), editing and adaptation. No further fee will be paid for such utilization of the
Recordings. The Baltic Youth Philharmonic’s sponsors may also receive the right to use the
Recordings in their public relations campaigns.

General Clauses:
Both parties accept this agreement without reservation and the rights of the parties, as prescribed, shall be subject
to the local Law of Presenter, therefore this agreement is subject to German law. The competent court and place of
fulfilment is Wolgast. Should any clause of this contract be null and void, it shall be replaced by the statutory clause
that is legally equivalent and which the parties would have stipulated, had they known about the clause’s lack of
validity.
The present agreement was drawn up in two copies, both of which are legally binding, and is duly acknowledged
and signed as follows:
