Yes,  you  don’t  have  to  apply  every  strategy  you’ve  just  learnt…  but  follow  this  
template.  
For  every  single  video  you  publish,  you  should  spend  time  promoting  it.  Why?  
Because  a  lack  of  promotion  will  lead  to  a  lack  of  views,  subscribers,  and  most  
importantly  influence  which  will  in  turn  lead  to  a  lack  of  money  in  the  long  run.  
 
Applying  all  of  the  promotional  strategies  will  be  time  consuming,  so  here’s  a  
template  to  stick  too.  
 
Tailor  it  to  your  niche,  but  try  and  keep  as  close  to  it  as  possible.  
 
 
 
 
What  You  Should  Do  For  Every  
Video…  
After  publishing  a  video  to  your  channel,  apply  the  following.  
 
1.  Video  Optimization  
 
Follow  the  steps  shown  in  the  Publishing  module,  and  optimize  your  video’s  Title,  
Description,  File  Name  and  if  possible,  add  a  transcription.  Put  most  of  your  
attention  into  a  good  keyword  rich  title,  alongside  a  lengthy  description  (200  
words  plus)  including  relevant  keywords.  
 
2.  Share  It  Yourself  
 
Once  you’ve  published  your  video,  share  it  across  your  social  channels.  Share  it  on  
your  Facebook  page,  Twitter,  Blog,  and  even  to  an  email  list  if  you  have  one.  The  
more  places  you  share  your  video,  the  better  the  possibility  for  exposure.  
 
3.  Get  Others  To  Share  It  
 
Do  you  have  a  list  of  relevant  blogs  to  your  niche  that  might  share  your  video  to  
their  audience?  Email  them.  Are  there  other  social  media  profiles  within  your  
niche?  Share  it  with  them.  If  you’ve  collaborated  with  someone,  get  them  to  share

You  want  to  highlight  the  value  of  the  video,  and  how  it  will  benefit  their  audience.  
If  the  video  is  good,  they’ll  have  no  reason  to  say  no.  Entice  your  loyal  subscribers  to  
share  it  too…    
 
4.  Increase  Views  &  CTR.  (Optional)  
 
Remember,  a  good  stream  of  views  and  a  high  CTR  will  help  your  video  rank.  This  
may  happen  naturally  if  you  optimize  your  video  well  enough  and  you  have  a  kick  
ass  thumbnail,  but  we  can  pay  to  kick  start  it.  
 
Use  a  micro  jobs  website  from  below,  and  create  a  new  campaign.  Get  people  to  
search  for  your  main  keyword,  find  your  video,  click  it  and  watch.

5.  Bookmark  To  Popular  Sites.  (Optional)  
 
Bookmarking  your  videos  on  popular  social  bookmarking  sites  will  help  you  siphon  
off  views  as  well.  Various  bookmarking  sites  have  different  categories  and  places  to  
bookmark  your  videos,  so  make  sure  you  choose  the  most  relevant  one  for  targeted  
traffic.  
 
Or  if  you  don’t  know  much  about  social  bookmarking,  we  tend  to  use  Fiverr  gigs  to

6.  Entice  People  To  Subscribe/Call  To  Action  
 
The  views  are  worthless  if  the  viewer  is  simply  just  watching  it,  and  going  
elsewhere.  Keep  them  engaged,  and  for  every  video  entice  them  to  subscribe.  Use  a  
subscribe  call  to  action  throughout  the  video,  create  an  outro  screen,  and  tell  them  
to  subscribe  verbally  in  the  video.  
 
Also,  if  you’re  monetizing  your  videos  don’t  forget  to  make  the  call  to  action  clear.  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
What  You  Should  Do  For  Your  
Channel…  
1.  Collaborate  
 
Teaming  up  with  other  YouTubers  really  is  a  key  strategy.  Even  if  they  have  5,000  
subscribers,  if  they  do  a  video  with  you  and  recommend  your  channel  to  their  
audience  you’re  going  to  siphon  targeted  views  and  subscribers.    
 
Key  tip:  Focus  on  influence  and  engagement  over  the  subscribers,  rather  than  the  
number.  
 
You  should  constantly  be  on  the  hunt  for  new  collaborations,  and  remember  to  
come  up  with  awesome  ideas  for  videos  so  the  person  you’re  contacting  will  
struggle  to  say  no.  
 
Once  you’ve  collaborated  with  someone  once,  and  had  good  results,  collaborate  
with  them  again  in  a  few  months.  
 
2.  Keyword  Based  Videos  
 
You’ll  find  the  videos  that  you  publish  that  receive  the  most  views  are  the  videos  
built  around  highly  searched  keywords,  or  videos  that  have  gone  viral.  Therefore  
creating  videos  around  keywords  really  are  key.  
 
Remember,  YouTube  is  a  search  engine  so  what  phrases  are  being  searched  within  
your  niche?  Create  a  video  around  that  keyword  and  optimize  for  it.  What  videos  
are  popular  on  other  channels?  Replicate  them.  Putting  some  time  into  a  video  
strategy  will  allow  your  channel  to  take  off  quicker.  
 
3.  Share  Your  Channel  
 
Think  of  your  channel  as  your  website,  it  should  be  the  hub  of  your  promotions  and  
it  should  be  the  first  place  you  send  people.  Your  videos  are  almost  like  web  pages  
or  blog  posts.  Share  your  channel  across  your  social  channels  often,  and  try  to  get  
the  link  to  your  channel  shared  often.  
 
The  more  places  people  see  you  and  your  channel,  the  more  subscribers  you’re  
going  to  attract.  
 
4.  Consistency  
 
 
A  channel  producing  one  video  a  week  as  apposed  to  one  creating  one  video  every  
two  months  will  always  have  an  advantage.  Publish  often,  but  focus  on  content.
